Worst part of sema besides walking around the convention halls is preparing for it. And by preparing I mean wiping the Cars down… And that’s about it lol. This car is going to the Seibon booth. All snaps are from my trusty iPhone

Ever since the day of JR’s passing, which is about a month ago, the crew at High End vowed that we’re going to finish JR’s car. It’s only been a month and unfortunately not all has been finished but man, we’ve done a lot. Debuting the new hotness at SEMA 2009, the G37 will be a feature car for Seibon. This will be the third year in a row where this car has been in SEMA. First was in Tanabe Booth, last year was Cusco in which it won the prestigious Grand Turismo Best of Show award and this year, as mentioned earlier, it’s the featured car for Seibon Carbon. Need to continue the legacy… More pics next week when we get to Vegas but for now, say bai bai!! We’ll see you next week buddy!!

I’ve been on a few photo shoots lately and more and more are coming. Last Thursday I did another shoot with my buddy Mark’s Carbon’ed out 350Z. I came up with a different process on the finish of the carbon making it a faux dry carbon look. We actually put this car together for Seibon’s SEMA booth and surprisingly the finish gathered a lot of attention and media exposure. Unfortunately this is one off but we can always work things out if anybody is interested with this type of finish.
This is the car that they used to showcase their Seibon Edition Volk Racing TE37′s. They look pretty good and sits great on the car especially with the color combination of both the wheels and the graphics ( made by Steve Lim from SANDesigns ). Although the set has been flamed a lot by hardcore JDM fanatics because Seibon is known for making replica carbon bits, the wheels are still made by Rays Engineering and they are quality wheels like every single Rays wheels out there. More to come with this car especially on the performance side of things. Although the car will never see the track ( I really hope it would ) it will still be an amazing piece of automotive porn.
