So for the second time last Friday I saw dark knight which is arguably one of the best flick I’ve seen this year. By far the best batman movie made. Well this time around I saw it on IMAX which is so much better than a regular movie theater. Image is so much crisper and the parts utilizes the whole IMAX screen you can’t help but say wow. It felt like your gonna fall over and land on the streets of Gotham.

Watching the European show moments after it aired.  the GTR Friggin awesome.  The New episodes are coming stateside tomorrow I believe and this is the 4th episode of the 11th season which will be airing stateside about a month from now.  They on a new challenge.  The GTR vs the Bullet Train…  Stay tuned in the next couple of weeks for this episode.  If not just search it in youtube.com it’ll probably be there in a few hours.

Today I got an awesome surprise when I got the advance copy of the Batman: Gotham Knight.  It’s a compilation of different rendition of some of the most talented artist out there and how they invision the dark knight and how he prowls the streets of Gotham.  The Movie is coming out the same time as the Dark Knight comes out to the theaters.  It’s a must see for fans.  The disc is split into 6 different episodes some darker than the other.  It’s amazing how the art is much different from the Batman we all know and love.  So check it when it comes out in about two weeks or so.  Also if you know the older Batman: The Animated Series, you’ll recognize some voices in this flick.  Check it!  You won’t be dissapointed.

Few days ago I got this package from the mail and it contains my new portrait lens.  It’s a canon 85mm 1.8 lens and thought I should try it out and see what this baby is packin’.  The lens itself is real sturdy and quality is always high being a japanese made canon lens.  Quality is always top notch.  Image quality?  Well you be the judge.  Peep at some car shots I did yesterday.

There’s been a lot of skeptics out there wondering if the car drives.   They’ve seen the car on shows but it was trailered there.  Main reason is the car is way too low  for the streets.  So last night what we did is took the car for a spin round the block.  Called the sheriff’s department first and told them to stay away of the area for about an hour or so then we’re ready to go hehe… just kidding.

The car has a lot of one off and prototype parts available only in Japan so we testeded everything here if they all work.  Check out the video and some of the photos of the car’s run.  Next time we’ll do some high speed runs but waiting for Cusco to send in the new Coil Over System since the car sits way too low to the ground.  Stay tuned.Check out some of pictures of the car.

In a little over a month the new Batman movie will be out on theaters. It’s the whole DC vs Marvel rivalry on comic books before but now it’s on the big screen. Will it be better than Iron Man? I really do think so.

I might be biased since I love batman from the get go and now with the writers making a much darker storyline than the older versions, I do enjoy it even more. Never really got into Iron Man but the movie, well, Robert Downey Jr made it look good. With the awesome portrayal of Joker by Heith Ledger, may he rest in peace, and the suicidal story of Harvey Dent this movie is gonna rock. At least I hope so. I haven’t really seen Harvey Dent’s alter Ego, Two Face, but in the screen cap I just did you’ll see a glimpse of a burnt down half of his face. Way to keep the mystery going guys.

With the extensive viral marketing that they did when they first announced the movie and seeing for the first time the devious face of the new Joker you can’t help yourself but cringe in the utter anticipation of the new movie. Why can’t July 18 be any closer?

There’s been a lot of good movies that came out and a lot more coming out in the next few weeks or so.  Saw Iron Man a week ago and that was such an awesome movie.  More story driven than action which is good in my book.  Surprisingly tho Speed Racer, a movie I saw not 3 hours ago capture my sights and led me to believe that my gut instinct can be proven wrong.  I was in awe with the new Speed Racer movie.  Although not as good as Iron Man, Speed Racer still put on an awesome show.

The movie was intense with all the colors and the speed it presents.  I was expecting to see a cheesy adaptation of the original anime but I was proven wrong.  Way wrong.  It’s not the best movie out there but yet the movie never failed to capture my attention.  I was kinda annoyed by that little kid and his monkey tho but it makes me want to have a pet monkey of my own.  Sounds weird?  Yes it does!!

The story was predictable especially if you know the show.  No surprises there but it’s still pretty straight forward.  No weird segways to different stories, just straight out for the love of the car and racing.  With all the bright colors, the immense sensation of speed (that they did nicely), and the real cool special effects, Speed Racer to me is a must see movie.  So if you have a spare 10 dollar bill and have seen Iron Man, grab a friend and watch the movie.  You won’t be disappointed.

It is for me… well for now at least. My friend Andy and I installed the Accela Professional Misfire system for my Evo 8 today. It’s actually pretty awesome. It keeps the car from dipping the boost by dumping fuel and keeping the detonation. A lot of fuel!! This is what the rally cars use not the Bee-R junk hehe actually that’s still cool but this is the functional one. Check it. Excuse the sound since it’s from my camera phone… As what Mr JDM Ego has told me “your going to jail for that thing”

After watching American Idol (Don’t ask) my buddy recommended me to this video of a beauty pageant from the Philippines. It’s pretty much like the Miss Teen USA here in the states. All I can say is… holy shit how did she win? I’m just embarrassed for her. It’s not because of her English it’s because didn’t even answer the question because most probably she didn’t understand it. But she still won??  But to answer the age old question. I’d still hit it. Many times.
