We’re walking on clouds

With the days of the SEMA Show 2008 running down, everybody that I know of in the industry are tired and exhausted. Feet are hurting from the miles and miles of isles that we walked. Feet are hurting and blistered but still we charge on. So what can you do to make everything better? How about having your car in the next Gran Turismo game? Yes that will definitely take all the aches and pain away!
This wasn’t just an ordinary Thursday. Today is when I got word that we won the Gran Turismo Import Car
award which was chosen from Hundred of cars in SEMA 2008. It was later narrowed to a top 5 which included our G37 and ended up being the top car marking this day a very historic day for High End. What an honor it is to even be chosen as the top 5 cars of the show, but to actually win it, is BEYOND AWESOME!!!
There were 5 cars that were chosen by 5 different magazine editors and each of these cars are on it’s own category. It was the European Import, Domestic, SUV, Hot Rod and the Import Car Category, which we were in. I just gotta give a lot of props to Carter Jung of Import Tuner because without him we wouldn’t have been on the competition. He pretty much registered our car right there and then since we submitted our entry a day before deadline but didn’t get the confirmation. To think we weren’t even gonna be in the competition. Carter hooked us up big time!!! I owe you buddy!
We’re walking on clouds. How often do you get your car in Gran Turismo? If ever, be in a video game. Pretty close to never I’d say. This was a collaboration of a bunch of friends and awesome companies. We couldn’t have done this project without these people. The peeps at Aerodyne Industries, Andy and Quin you guys rock as a lot of people already mentioned, we created a masterpiece! Hara-San of Cusco Japan, thank you for the opportunity and all the kick ass one off products that you have provided us, Mr Arthur Fong, forget the Scion Challenge… your concept is gonna be in a Video Game SON!!!!! And of course the family of High End Performance. Our mastermind and fearless leader Benjamin Abutin. This is your creation. We all worked hard for this and it finally pays off. Thank you for the opportunity to even be around your greatness and being part of this amazing project. JR, YOUR CAR IS GOING TO BE IN GRAN TURISMO. Just in case you didn’t read that clear enough, YOUR CAR IS GOING TO BE IN GRAN TURISMO!!!!! I do apologize that they called my name up there tho instead of yours hahahahaha It’s Carter’s fault LOL. Everything is fixed now so it’s all good =) did it last night. And the rest of the High End crew, Jun, Richard. This wouldn’t even be in existence if it wasn’t for all our passion. Again thank you for the opportunity to be around you awesome people. To our Auto Concept Elite family, which other team is in a game again? Hmmm. And to everyone that helped, Blitz, Mines’, Advan, SSR, Tomei, Memphis Audio, thank you for all the help and support and believing in us. And to all the haters, well… let’s look at it this way, you can buy the game and crash the car. Fulfill your fantasy, whatever makes you guys wet but just keep in mind, you’re playing with our car in the game, and your car is where again? Jk. Thank you Sony for Immortalizing our car in your game. Thank you very much everyone.
